Sculpture Sky High

This collection constitutes a worldwide representation of the sculptor's approach to kite making. All display items have been created within the last decade and, taken together, they represent the best in contemporary kite making as a sculptural form.

This collection of sky high art presents a diverse selection of kites from notable sculptors and sculptresses throughout the world. Included are the works of Peter Lynn of New Zealand; Istvan Bodoczky of Hungary; George Peters of Hawaii; Jan Hosking of Michigan and Dan Leigh of Wales. The kites vary in size from "The Humel," by Marten Bondestam, the foremost kite maker in Finland, which requires a ceiling approximately eight yards high, to Zelda Tannenbaum's mini kites, requiring a glass case for display.
